John McKevitt, from the Kewaunee Inn resort, in Kewaunee WI was the guest chef last night at a fundraiser for the Lillstreet Art Center. His "Wisconsin Cheddar and Beer Soup" was a big hit; sold out early, helping to raise funds for a worthy cause. This innovative take on a traditional Wisconsin favorite will be featured in an upcomming cookbook resulting from the event. Thanks to all who came out to support Lillstreet, and the Kewaune Inn!

Many Thanks to Mike Sipple of Krohn's Dairy and Trega Foods for the donation of the cheese. The best Sharp Cheddar in the State of Wisconsin is what made the soup. Try it yourself and support Kewaunee County Dairy farmers
